About

Our mobile app is a convenient way to load our mobile friendly website working in the way you love and know.

When you load our website you should get a pop-up at the bottom the screen to allow installation of the mobile app onto your home screen.

Why is our app not on the App Stores?

We use a Progressive Web App (PWA) means you can add our app without having to go to the stores. It doesn’t need any permissions and is pretty much the same as if you went to our mobile friendly website on your phone browser.

What is a Progressive Web App?

Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) offer several advantages over native mobile apps, making them an increasingly popular choice for businesses and developers. Firstly, PWAs are platform-agnostic, meaning they can run on any device or operating system, whether it’s a smartphone, tablet, or desktop. This cross-platform compatibility eliminates the need for separate development and maintenance of different native apps for iOS, Android, and other platforms, resulting in cost and time savings. Additionally, PWAs are easily accessible through web browsers, eliminating the need for users to download and install them from an app store. This streamlined user experience leads to higher adoption rates as users can simply visit the website and start using the app immediately. PWAs also have smaller file sizes compared to native apps, enabling faster loading times and reducing data usage. They can even work offline or with limited connectivity, caching data and providing a seamless experience. Moreover, PWAs are easier to update since changes made on the server side can be instantly reflected across all devices, eliminating the need for users to manually update their apps. Overall, the versatility, accessibility, improved performance, and cost-effectiveness of PWAs make them a compelling choice for businesses aiming to reach a wider audience and enhance user engagement.

To manually install a progressive web app (PWA), you can follow these instructions:

  1. Launch a compatible web browser: Open a modern web browser that supports PWAs, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari (iOS 11.3 and above).
  2. Visit the PWA website: Go to the website of the PWA you want to install. Ensure that the website supports PWA installation and is designed to be responsive.
  3. Access the browser’s menu: In the web browser, locate the menu button. It is usually represented by three vertical dots or horizontal lines in the top-right or top-left corner of the browser window.
  4. Open the browser’s installation options: Click on the menu button to open a drop-down menu. Look for options related to installing or adding apps or websites to your device’s home screen or app drawer.
  5. Find the “Install” or “Add to Home Screen” option: Within the installation options menu, search for an option that allows you to manually install the PWA. The name of this option may vary depending on the browser you are using.
  6. Click on “Install” or “Add to Home Screen”: Once you find the appropriate option, select it. This action triggers the installation process for the PWA.
  7. Confirm installation details: A dialog box may appear, displaying information about the PWA, such as its name, icon, and requested permissions. Review the details and ensure they match your expectations.
  8. Accept permissions (if applicable): Some PWAs may require specific permissions to function properly, like accessing your location, camera, or notifications. Grant the necessary permissions if you agree with the app’s requirements.
  9. Customize settings (optional): Depending on the browser and PWA, you might have the option to customize certain settings during the installation process. For instance, you could choose where the app icon is placed or if it should appear in your app drawer.
  10. Wait for installation: The browser will begin downloading and installing the PWA. The progress may be indicated by a progress bar, a loading spinner, or a completion message.
  11. Access the PWA: Once the installation is complete, you can find the PWA’s icon on your device’s home screen, app drawer, or taskbar (depending on your operating system). Click or tap on the icon to open the PWA.

Enjoy offline access and additional features: PWAs are designed to offer offline capabilities and enhanced functionality. They can provide a more app-like experience, including features like push notifications and offline caching.

Please note that the installation process may vary slightly depending on the browser and operating system you are using. However, the general steps provided above should help you manually install a PWA on most platforms.
